Bishop Zoltán Meszlényi
The beatification of Zoltán Meszlényi, auxiliary Bishop of the Esztergom-Budapest Archdiocese, who died in March 1951, took place at the Basilica of Esztergom on 31st October 2009.
The celebration took place during Holy Mass celebrated by Card. Péter Erdő, Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest. Archbishop Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints was also present for the celebration.
